Located on the east coast of the peninsula, Exmouth is the gateway to the Cape Range National Park and the start of the Ningaloo Marine Park.
This National Park consists of most of the peninsula where Exmouth is located. The Cape Range National Park consists of a part that is located directly on the coast and has great beaches with campsites where you camp almost directly on the beach and a part more inland that consists of great gorges and rock formations where you would almost forget that there is a sea is nearby.
The Ningaloo Marine Park contains the Ningaloo Reef. Similar to the Great Barrier Reef but less touristy and in better condition if you ask me. This spot is also visited by the whale shark and when it is in season you can swim next to these giants.
